1- A Basket filled with a Feast!
Do not go hungry on the beach. Bring a feast and some beers in a hip picnic basket. This is a must have accessory for the beach goers. Do not forget the margarita mix either!

2- Tarp Time

You need something to sit on while at the beach. A tarp can play many roles from blanket to shade. It also keeps your towels from getting too sandy.

3- Kindle with Waterproof Protection
The beach can be boring if you do not have something trashy to read. A Kindle can provide you with hours of entertainment in music, movies, magazines and more. Just make sure it has a solid waterproof cover to protect it from sand and sea.

4- iPod Speakers
You are going to want to blast some music while partying at the beach. Bring your portable iPod speakers to get the party going with your favourite hits.

5- Aviator Sunglasses
You should never go anywhere without your shades. Aviator sunglasses are the hippest look in town for both men and women. Do not go the beach without them!

6- Trendy Bathing suit
The beach is the one time you can walk around wearing next to nothing. Take advantage of this and wear a cool new bathing suit.

7- Boogie Board
Tired of laying down? Plunge into the ocean with a boogie board. You do not have to be a professional surfer to ride the waves thanks to this beach accessory!

8- An attractive member of the opposite sex
Never go to the beach alone if you do not want to be bored out of your mind. Instead, ask that cute girl out or the boy from your class join you for a day on the beach. You never know how things might end up!

9- Portable Chairs
Sitting in the sand is not fun. You can avoid this problem by by bringing portable chairs with you. This will keep your bottom from getting too sandy.

10- Volleyball
You can do so much with a volleyball from soccer to a game of tag. Just remember not to hit anyone with it- on purpose.

After being away from the beach fro awhile, be it from location or just simply cold weather can have your body less than ready for showing off to a crowd. So how can you get that perfect beach body back? This isn’t about fad diets and silly exercise machines and you should be able to get yourself looking terrific in no time!

Changing Your Diet

One of the first things you need to do before you get back on the beach is change that diet! It is important to make sure that you are eating properly and not having too little or too much food. People usually concentrate on not eating too much but not having enough can affect your health as you may become deficient. We will discuss supplements a bit later in this article.

Make sure that you are not falling for fad diets or any diet that may make you more unhealthy. This can lead to yo-yo dieting where you will lose weight quickly and put it back on again just as fast. This not only causes health problems but, as you can imagine, can drive a person insane! Take a holistic approach to your diet and start with removing any common manufactured foods that you eat and make sure you drink plenty of water as this can aid weight loss.

Getting Active

Exercising doesn’t have to mean heading off to the gym. You can easily get active in your own home and neighborhood and it usually works out much cheaper than a gym membership. Try just going for walks to begin with if you haven’t exercised for a while and remember not to push it too hard as you are starting out. It is really important to make sure that you exercise safely.

You will also want to add in some sort of cardiovascular exercise to your routine and if you are a little unhealthy then try getting a bike. Bike riding is great for cardio and is a little easier on the body as well. You migth also want to try just getting out on weekends to enjoy the outdoors and have some fun.

Supplements

If your diet is lacking in something than you should take some vitamin supplements. Try and avoid all of the bulking up protein stuff unless you are a really dedicated weights buff and want to bulk up a lot. Most people actually just want to look a but slimmer and tone up some problem areas. Don’t make the mistake many bodybuilders make and bulk up because as soon as you stop exercising that muscle turns to fat very quickly!

Skin Care

Going to the beach means getting in the sun a lot and while you may want to look all nice and tanned it is not great for your skin. Make sure you are treating your skin well in the sun and on the beach. Follow these basic tips and you will have your beautiful beach body back in no time at all!
